Dear Ladslist,

I’m a researcher from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine working with National Ugly Mugs on a major new research project to find out how removing sex work-related police enforcement could affect sex workers’ safety, health and access to services. The results of this important study will be used to fight for laws, policies and services that protect sex workers’ safety, health and rights, across London and the UK.

As a leading directory for gay escorts in the UK, we were wondering whether you could assist getting information about the research to people using the platform in the most appropriate manner.

This independent research will provide timely evidence and recommendations concerning sex workers’ health, safety and well-being which we hope will contribute to ongoing policy debates e.g. around SESTA/FOSTA through policy briefs and workshops with policy makers, sex workers and practitioners as well as through academic papers and conferences.

You can also find out more about our research and NHS collaborators and advisers on our website https://eastlondonproject.lshtm.ac.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Jocelyn Elmes
