Anyone see this programme the other day?

Yet another documentary on sex-workers.  Storm Huntley (who you might recognise from "The Jeremy Vine Show" meets "volunteers" who are working to assist sex-workers in need.
The show mostly focuses on female sex workers who are "ravaged by addiction" or have been assaulted whilst working on the streets.

Male-sex worker "Colin" who struggles with alcoholism and sells sex to fund his addiction. He often works on the streets in Newcastle, but now also advertises online. He shows us around the notorious, precarious "Gardens" area which is frequented by male sex workers/rent boys.

Hmmm... Typically Channel 5. 

Hopefully there's a slightly more balanced angle in a further episode that doesn't just display all sex workers as tragic street-walking addicts from broken homes? :-/

Ref this series - I featured in the first - 'Working from Home' ( often repeated ) - Had been invited a number of times over the years and declined, however I favoured the approach which was to give more balance about the sex industry.
The feedback from literally hundreds of people that recognise me from the doc has been overwhelmingly positive and picked me up some more trade.
