Good Escort - UK Whatsapp group?

WillingAble27

Question

Seeing as this forum is (sadly) barely touched anymore, I was wondering if UK escorts have other means of collectively staying in more immediate touch to share questions, bad client notifications, resources or perhaps arrange things like tours, property shares or duo / group jobs?

Who'd be interested in a Good Escort whatsapp group, perhaps?

Thought it worth an ask.

I do like the idea of staying touch for stuff like that if the forum does wind down.

But I also know how bad I am with large WhatsApp groups (although I imagine a WhatsApp group for here would be a lot more pleasant than the one I'm currently in with six straight guys from back in Scotland who talk mostly about football and make some really foul jokes).

An invitation only GoodEscort Discord? In (very!) silent partnership/promotion (email outreach, footer pages) by SWer orgs and UK LGBT+ escort platforms.

It'd be a lot of work to setup/maintain (I appreciate the effort to host GE for free) but it'd be a shame to give up on this place and power users of the site could help.

I think a discord would be mobile friendly (on SW, more research) and bring awareness to post-backpage (halcyon days...) SWers, especially those doing both online and FSSW. It may also outsource some hosting costs while driving traffic back to the site.

Maybe an informal monthly audio/video meet as well for more rural/online only SWers? Outside of the major SWer cities, there isn't much communal infrastructure for UK men who do SW. This would be a cheap, flexible, opt-out, plausibly deniable workaround.

What's App is standard for groups these days (Signal or Telegram might be considered more secure) but a bit of a nightmare to search for historical problems (and a new user can't see messages from before they joined), so I'm not sure how it would work in practice.

Discord is another option, but it might be a bit technical for people who are not already familiar with it.

As @WillingAble27 states, usage has dropped significantly, so I've started another topic to discuss here: Should I keep the forum going?

It’s a pity this site isn’t more frequently used. I’ve certainly found it helpful. I hold my hands up to posting infrequently but I think it shouldn’t be used for trivia so as with most things…less is more.
I’d be good with a WhatsApp group too. Try it and see if it works.
I’d not heard of discord until recently when I understand that leak of secret US documents happened via that site!
