THURSDAY 9th MAY

Sleazy Michael Presents;

SAUNA AND CLUB DRUG CASUALTIES; a panel discussion at RVT

"I’m not an addict I only take G at the weekend – EVERY Weekend"

How is our community to address this?

"They say G is dangerous; my friends pass out all the time, but wake up just fine, so what’s the drama?"

How is our community to address this?

Join the lively debate with our panel!

Concerns expressed by a friend have prompted me to share the FOUNDING BENCHMARK of this event which ALL the panel support:

Aims & Theme: 'To bring together a panel in most part made up of high profile personalities from the ‘scene’ who are well informed about ‘drug culture’ All have a non judge-mental attitude.

We want to invite questions that will explore why this culture exists and more prevalent than on the ‘str8’ scene – the consequences – can attitudes be changed – what support exists – and what more could be done?

The focus will be to make the theme of the debate appeal to the very people affected by the culture – be it users, those that have lost friends, ex users and anyone that cares.

This will NOT be about blaming the clubs AND saunas.'

DJ FAT TONY - ‘What does it take for you guys to wake up?’

STEWART WHOO - 'The gay scene would fall apart without drugs. Come to think of it, so would I.....'

DAVID STUART (Antidote Substance Use Services ) - ‘Collapsing on G ought not be a normal part of our weekend experience. We're better than that.’

HOLESTAR - 'The blame lies with ourselves not necessarily the clubs & saunas'

JONNY WOO - 'The pink pound is more important to some businesses than people's lives'

Host & Chair - DUSTY LIMITS - '2013 London Cabaret Awards Best Host/Compere'

Music by DJ Di
