Where would one advertise their escort services in Dubai?

I've been thinking about going on a work-vacation to Dubai sometime in the not too distant future, and I'm keen to learn where are the best places to advertise whilst there?

Also, any other tips on escorting there, or elsewhere abroad (e.g. the USA, Brazil, Australia, Asian and European hotspots et al) , in general (where to advertise, safety, law, accommodation, customs etc), and tales of personal experience would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Hija Rio - if you check this link - skip through to the last page - this was in ref to Dubai: 'JasperUK Posts 21

It is illegal to be gay openly in this county. I could only have sex in the embassey while I was there. Human rights are not good and suggest working in a country whee you know the consular would help a gay escort. There are legal implication and moral laws. I have discoved the grass its not greener in the UEA . Avoid avoid avoid. This person wanted your account information , sounds like scam. If he is genuine he could post a deposit of say $ 500 by western union if the was genuine.

So it is a very interesting question and would be really useful to get feedback from ANY forum members that have ever been able to get clients - despite Jasper's advice I can't believe paying for pleasure does not occur, but for sure would be very cloak & dagger.

Check out gayromeo - useful for escorts outside of the UK - search by country for escorts - check out rentboy also - gaydar also has search option for escorts working in other countries.

I would also advise you to try google - put in some key words - let us know what you find out!

Thanks for the response guys.

Rentboy does look like a solid bet, and GR and Gaydar could certainly be worth a try too.

I ask because I'm sure there are probably popular escort sites here in the UK that may have an international search section/feature, but are not necessarily the most popular sites, or indeed agencies perhaps, used in the particular country itself by those looking to book an escort.

I'm quite eager to learn which are the most popular sites/agencies/ad spaces in different international hotspots.

A work trip around the globe could be a great time methinks (i'm just in the planning stages at the moment, so I want to make sure I'm well prepared)...

Thanks (and I welcome any further info or tips) !

Hi all, I was there last December-January. I didn't get much response to my ads on rentboy or gaydar. Quite a few came from gayromeo. Craigslist casual m4m is good there but it's an artform to get the point across that you're an escort without saying anything in your ad that will get you deleted. I'd recommend editing your gayromeo ad to remove any direct mention of sex for money. Just say you do 'full body massage' , 'escorting', 'full service' etc. There are a lot of rumours kicking around that the police in Dubai do sting operations to arrest escorts by posing as clients. A Filipino guy was arrested there recently for escorting- http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/uae/courts/male-prostitute-who-posted-internet-profile-in-dubai-is-jailed-1.1188843

I was very careful there to the point of being paranoid but didn't have any problems. Was able to charge over double what I charge here and had a great time. Just follow your instincts. Also look for big hotels with a large, busy reception area and no cctv pointing at the door to your room so clients can come and go without being noticed by hotel staff. A good idea to move hotels at least once a week too. Rumour has it that if hotel staff think you're gay and or an escort, they sometimes report you to the police. It's not the most gay friendly place in the world- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_the_United_Arab_Emirates#Dubai

but if you're careful and very discreet, you should be fine. Good luck :-)

Side-question: Have you worked whilst travelling in any other countries, and if so, which sites worked best whilst there (or other relevant tips)?

Cheers in advance!

You're welcome :-)

I've worked in Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Venice, Rome, Edinburgh and Queensland in Australia. Gayromeo seems to work well in most European countries. Gaydar and sleepyboy are ok in London but no good anywhere else in my experience. Manjam is ok. Craigslist is ok if you can get the point across that you're an escort without being banned and don't mind a lot of messages from timewasters. Backpage is cheap but I don't get many genuine responses. Vivastreet isn't cheap but giving it another try. In London the best place to advertise in terms of the proportion of people who call you who actually book an appointment, is gaytimes magazine. Not sure about Australia these days but when I was there ads in the adult services sections of local papers got a lot of responses.

It depends; can you understand religions and local custom, and can you be confident of your safety? Islamic cultures have a history of older men paying younger men and boys for favours, so it should come as no surprise that there is a niche in Islamic States. As these things always have a way of expressing themselves, you could find your fortune where others are easily put off.

Oz in London - you have given some brilliant advice - about working abroad and where how to advertise - the info about your experience in Dubai - wow - and Rio take heed.

Thanks for the info. I've worked in Australia twice. The only site you really need there is rentboyaustralia, not the American one.

Melbourne is the only place in Australia that's a bit tricky, you need to register with the government, get tested every 3 months and pay taxes to advertise there, but if you go to Sydney first you will get loads of calls for Melbourne as there selection is so small.

You're welcome :-)

'Manjam is ok.' - seems to be a dating site - any escorts managed to get clients via this or other 'dating' sites?

the updated version of manjam doesn't let you post commercial services ads but I still get clients just from my dating ad on there and you can click settings and go to "manjam classic" where you can still post escort/massage ads. I get clients from android dating apps too. Mainly grindr but also badoo, tinder, okcupid etc
