Snorting Cocaine With Prostitutes

I've nothing to add and no comment to make on the Lord Sewel story.

But every hour on the radio news, yesterday and the day before, and probably today as well, I hear the phrase "snorting cocaine with prostitutes" and it makes me laugh.

I can't pin down exactly what's so funny.

Those four exact words again and again, like it's a package experience, like it's a shorthand for a debauchery and awfulness we can all agree on.
